Description
The beautiful white and black snow geese migrate south for the winter from breeding grounds in canada. They arrive in huge numbers and are a sight to behold when the swirling flocks take to the air in a flurry of wing beats, honks and flashes of white. Here I've captured the snow geese suspended in the air above the clouds just after they took off from the marshes of Edwin B Forsythe wildlife refuge in New Jersey.
