Description
A still second in the golden sunshine among a field full of wild bergamot flowers. The ancient Greek term for butterfly, "Psyche" is interwoven with the concept of spirit or breath, an animating life force in humans - the soul. Tiger Swallowtail butterflies have vibrant, showy yellow wings and are at home in the native meadows and fields of Eastern USA.
The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail is the state butterfly of Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, and South Carolina.
