Description
It was a cool summer evening when I started out on a walk just after a rain and observed a pair of mourning doves resting under a canopy of pines. Then it began to drizzle again and I knew I was short on time and light. Pointing toward the fledgling nestled close to the adult dove on the rain kissed pine branch, I carefully composed a shot. Made it back to the car just as the storm broke, leaving the birds to their peaceful shelter.
