Walking through the woods one late October morning, I skipped over a small, slow stream. This bright red maple leaf that had just freshly fallen on the still surface of the water caught my eye. The stark contrast in nature as autumn slips into the icy depths of winter evokes poignant reflections. Digitally rendered artwork.
